The security cameras of the City recorded the entire sequence: the moment when the door falls whole and the thieves leaving the store located at 1800 Alvear Street. Meters later were caught by the Delta Force, a division of the Commune 2 that controls the motorcycles that pass through the area.
The detainees, one of Colombian nationality and the other Venezuelan, They entered with an accomplice at an official Rolex location pretending to be customers and they asked the employee to show them various luxury items. They took advantage of the seller's low guard to hit him. Then they handcuffed him and locked him in a back room of the store.
The moment of the arrest of thieves
The three fake customers took the watches that were on display and wanting to leave the premises they found something they did not expect: the armored doors were closed.
