The
Qatar World Cup 2022 presented his
logo all over the world simultaneously and original, using digital screens at the same time in different corners of the planet.
There were 24 emblematic places where the image of the next World Cup was known, and all when the clock marked the
Doha 20.22 (14.22 of our country).
The official presentation took place in Doha, the capital of Qatar, with thousands of spectators witnessing the synchronized projection in several of the emblematic buildings of the Asian country. In addition, several major cities around the world also celebrate the milestone, with images of the emblem seen in renowned places.
The emblem design embodies the vision of an event that connects and involves the entire world, while presenting elements of local and regional Arab culture and football. The curves of the emblem represent the undulations of the desert dunes and the unbroken loop represents both the number eight, a reminder of the eight stadiums that will host matches, as the infinity symbol, which reflects the nature of the event. In addition to echoing the shape of the iconic trophy, the central shape of the emblem is inspired by a traditional wool shawl. During the winter months, a large number of people use various styles throughout the world and in the Arab and Gulf regions, in particular. Embroidered detail usually adorns shawls in the Arab world and is inspired by various cultures throughout Asia. The tournament will be played in November and December, where temperatures will fall on Qatari soil.
