The fights continue, what is failing?

The clashes that occurred between some Medellin fans on Sunday morning in Colombia Street with the 65th race, and a fight during the classic Antioquia in the northern tribune of the Atanasio Girardot Stadium, once again raised concerns of the community if the Security measures are insufficient or if the commitments made by the barristas are not real.

In the first case, the Secretary of Security of Medellín, Andrés Felipe Tobón Villada, He said that it was a fight mostly starring members of the North Rexixtenxia dissent known as Los Chatarrerox, a bar that has been sanctioned for a year, and until December 31, by the Football Commission.

According to Tobón Villada, the possible leader of this organization, whose members are not allowed to enter the matches in the maximum sports arena of the city, was captured months ago for the alleged crime of homicide.

The official said that the timely reaction of the Metropolitan Police avoided major events, adding that there were no injuries, although a video that went viral on social networks shows attacks with machetes and stones.

The balance sheet, delivered by Tobón Villada at a press conference, speaks of 78 adults who are being prosecuted and 14 minors placed under the orders of a family police station (El Bosque). Authorities seized 29 white weapons, mostly machetes, and narcotics.

All those involved in the disorders, the Secretary added, will receive sanctions based on the Sports Law.

On the part of Nacional, informed the Mayor's Office, 35 followers were temporarily detained who, "under the influence of alcohol and drugs, caused changes in public order once the game ended."

“As a bar we are committed to the social and cultural process that we are developing together. What happened on Sunday away from the stadium was a fact starring fans who were in a caravan, attacked them and they responded. They are spots, moles that have been left of an absurd war ”.

And he added that together with Los del Sur and all the bars in the country, they are “very committed to the visitor's campaign”.
