The Chinese Embassy in Ottawa has asked Canada on Sunday to do not intervene in internal affairs of his country, after the American nation issued a joint declaration with the European Union in defense of the "fundamental right of assembly" for the citizens of Hong Kong.
"In the current situation, the Canadian side should be cautious with their words and facts regarding the issue related to Hong Kong, "a spokesman for the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
