Rabat – Locally strong thunderstorms are expected Tuesday from 13:00 to 23:00 in several provinces of the Kingdom, announces the Directorate of National Meteorology (DMN).
In a special weather report, the DMN states that the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Boulmane, Errachidia, Figuig, Guercif, Midelt, Taourirt, Taza and Tinghir are affected by these showers.
According to the same source, these thunderstorms may be locally accompanied by hailstorms and gusts under storms.
Moreover, the same meteorological situation will persist on Wednesday and will be able to generate locally strong thunderstorms on the reliefs of the High and the Middle Atlas, the south-eastern slopes and the Oriental, adds the ADM.
