Real Madrid Happy with the squad despite the poor start

"The Party of COPE" with Juanma Castano.
Real Madrid's summer revolution never really came to be in the transfer window just gone, but Dani Carvajal doesn't think it's easy to overhaul a squad at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

There was a lot of talk before the window about the sweeping changes Zinedine Zidane's return would usher in but aside from Eden Hazard, no real superstars have arrived and none of the perceived deadwood has been shifted.

"There's always talk of a revolution," Carvajal explained to Radio MARCA and Cope's El Partidazo.

"But at a team like Real Madrid, where everyone wants to be and not everyone wants to leave, it's not easy.

"Players like Hazard, (Eder) Militao, (Ferland) Mendy, they've come to help us, and I think that's to compliment a great squad. "

The season hasn't started as planned for Madrid, but Carvajal isn't worried just yet.

"People might think that we've drawn two times in three games so the ghosts of last year are returning," Carvajal he said.

"But the feeling on the inside isn't bad.

"It's true that we need to be more blunt in attack and defense, but we'll do big things again."

Neymar was linked with both Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer, and his is an arrival that the Spaniard would welcome.

"You saw that one day he was going to Barcelona, and the next day to us, and another he was staying, " Carvajal added.

"We asked the Brazilians and they told us that he didn't know what was going to happen, that he was in doubt.

"He's a top three or top five player. A player like that is welcomed in any team."
