The signing of this agreement is between the Institute for Training and Use of Human Resources (Ifarhu), the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (Senacyt) and the Caldo Consortium.
With this agreement, new opportunities arise for the development of master's and doctoral studies in Canada.
The communiqué explains that through this agreement the bases are established to carry out calls for co-financing of Scholarships aimed at Panamanian students interested in conducting studies of research masters or doctorates, in areas of science, technology and innovation, in Canadian education centers belonging to Caldo.
About The Deputy Director General of Ifarhu, Itzenith Taylor, explained that this initiative is given in compliance with the promise of President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, who has repeatedly said that education is the "Star" that illuminates the Government.

For its part the national secretary in charge of the Senacyt, Víctor Sánchez Urrutia, was confident that the scholarship candidates will be able to take advantage of this new educational opportunity with results of excellence in research that contribute to the welfare of society, to the scientific and technological progress of the country.
The study programs that the fellows may study include research masters with a duration of two years and doctorates with a duration of up to four years. The scholarships may also include a language training with a duration of up to 12 months, taking into account the language in which the research or doctoral master's studies will be conducted.
