It was also revealed that the streaming giant may have paid a similar amount of money for the rights of Seinfeld compared to what NBCUniversal and WarnerMedia paid. According to figures revealed by Los Angeles Times, NBCUniversal paid $ 500 MDD for The Office while WarnerMedia disbursed $ 425 MDD for Friends, both for a 5-year transmission contract and only in the United States. Currently, Seinfeld is transmitted by Hulu, a company that paid $ 150 MDD for the emission rights of the Show only in the United States and which will expire in 2021, which will be when it goes to Netflix. Internationally (including Mexico), rights are held by Amazon for now.

Meanwhile, Ted Sarandos, director of content for Netflix revealed in a statement that the successful series will be available for the first time to everyone in 4K format.
