Lucas Pusineri, coach of Deportivo Cali, congratulated his players after the suffered qualification to the semifinals of the Copa Colombia against Junior, who came in the definition from the penalty spot.

The Argentine described the game as "very complicated. There was an atmosphere of being important. There was a good audience," said the strategist.

The gaucho was happy for the classification since the Cup "is a goal set, a competition of great value. It is difficult against a rival of hierarchy, but we lived up to the circumstances. We had a more defensive block than in other games ".

He added that from now on the matches in the tournament will be "battles. This was a battle we won and hopefully we can continue with the illusion, fighting, because this team of players wants to give people joy."

Finally, Pusineri remembered his grandmother, when asked about the image he kissed during the penalty shootout. "Against the divine many times you can not, I am a very spiritual man and I focus on the strength of beings that are no longer on earth. I have my grandmother in heaven."

Pusineri will seek to maintain the faith of the Cali fan for the semifinal series against Tolima Sports.
