In its updated newsletter at 8:00 pm, the CNH reported that Dorian is moving northwest at 6 mph, and a slightly faster movement to the northwest or north-northwest is expected on Tuesday night.
"A turn to the north is forecast on Wednesday at dusk, followed by a turn to the north-northwest on Thursday morning," says the CNH.
Miami-Dade and Broward are not under warnings or alerts of hurricane or tropical storm.
According to the CNH, Dorian's core is expected to move dangerously near the east coast of Florida and the coast of Georgia on Tuesday night through Wednesday night.
The Dorian center is predicted to move near or over the coast of South Carolina and North Carolina on Thursday through Friday morning.
"According to the trajectory that follows, it is most likely that its main center remains over the ocean, however its western part will affect central and eastern Florida and eventually the south and southeast coast of South Carolina and South Carolina North, "said Miami News meteorologist Eduardo Rodríguez.
