In 2018, by Bucaramanga, Argentine coach Diego Cagna passed. Colombia was his second international experience, although it was the seventh time as a team coach.

In his time at the leopard team, the Argentine coach was 17 games, in which he won 5, drew 4 and lost 8. For that reason he was the third coach to leave in the first half of 2018.

Cagna spent a semester without directing and in this 2019 he was in charge of the Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba, in which he was only 10 games.

However, the Argentine was opening a new door in Chacarita, his country's team. According to 'Olé', everything was very close to materialize until a sharp no of the coach appeared, which was later confirmed by his assistant in a statement.

"Cagna decided that he will not direct more," said Mariano Pasini, his former technical assistant. This would end the career as a coach of a man who shone as a footballer.

Diego Cagna, in his stage as a player, went through Argentinos Juniors, Independiente, Boca Juniors, Villarreal (Spain) and Celaya (Mexico). With the red and xeneize of Argentina he was champion of several international cups.
