The Colombian National Team drew Tuesday 0-0 with Venezuela, in the second game of preparation for the September Fifa date. Carlos Queiroz was able to see new faces, make variants and keep looking at options in the bands playing without an armed steering wheel. Good first half, better than the second, and lack of goal.

The Tricolor became the protagonist again. He tried from the first minutes to overcome Venezuela in possession, intention, speed and imbalance. Coach Carlos Queiroz made nine variants with respect to the match he had tied on Friday with Brazil, leaving only Dávinson Sánchez and Juan Guillermo Cuadrado as referents.

The others, left to leave everything to show. And yes they did. The laterals, Luis Manuel Orejuela -by the right- and Cristian Borja -by the left-, had permanent exit from the sides. In the midfield, Jefferson Lerma sacrificed himself in brand, but the one that stood out the most was Yairo Moreno, who in addition to his defensive tasks, had a lot of projection and association to step on the area. In attack it failed, despite having goal options.

Colombia had a better first half. However, Santos Borré, Luis Díaz and Orlando Berrio could not reflect in the arc of Wuilker Faríñez the coffee superiority.

In the second part, Colombia lost superiority and went from more to less. He no longer arrived so clearly, even Queiroz ended up taking out his three attackers to get the trident that shined with Brazil (Duván Zapata, Luis Muriel and Roger Martínez). However, the Tricolor lacked generation and the bands were no longer so dangerous for Venezuelans.

Topping the game, Álvaro Montero showed off and saved the Colombian arch in a couple of occasions, with outstanding saves, and sealed the 0-0.
