The entire shipping process will be carried out by the farmers themselves, who have built a warehouse and packing house to do the respective jobs, said ejido producer Pedro Núñez, Antonio Orozco Díaz

Thanks to the storage of water made by the producers of the La Central-Cerro del Toro basin for several years, they have managed to grow 200 hectares of mango, soursop, palms and lemons, fruit that will be exported to Canada.
This was reported by ejido producer Pedro Núñez, Antonio Orozco Díaz, who explained that the entire shipping process will be carried out by the farmers themselves, who have built a winery and packing machine to do the respective jobs, with advice from a local company dedicated to export
He noted that this has allowed the generation of employment sources not only for farmers, but more than 30 people in the region who have helped in the sowing, cutting and packing of the fruit, which began to be marketed in Manzanillo, Colima, states of the region and soon goes to Canada.
He pointed out that mainly what they are going to export will be mango, which will cause increased production in the municipality and will seek to place it at a good price, as it is a quality fruit.
