On August 30, the list of Roberto Martínez's summons was announced for the next matches of the Belgian national team, facing the Euro 2020. The Red Devils will face San Marino and Scotland, and the coach decided to include its captain, Eden Hazard, who has not yet been able to officially debut with Real Madrid.

Days before the league premiere of the white team against Celta de Vigo, the news was known that the Belgian end, brand new signing of the summer market, suffered a muscle injury in the left thigh that postponed his long-awaited debut.

Since then, Hazard has maintained a recovery routine, in which the next League clash was drawn against Levante (September 14) as a goal to return to the pitch. The call by Roberto Martínez surprised, including Zinedine Zidane, who warned at a press conference the next day: "Today he can not play. We know it and he does too. I hope it is so for the good of all."

The Belgian finally traveled to the concentration of his team, where he was evaluated by the local medical body, who made the decision to let him return to Madrid. To avoid relapses, Hazard will continue his recovery in Valdebebas as stipulated, while Belgium must face both meetings without his captain. The goal remains the same, that the new white '7' debuts against Levante in Santiago Bernabéu on September 14.
