BUENOS AIRES, Sep 9 (Reuters) – Argentina's central bank (BCRA) averaged a slightly rising rate of 85.987% on Monday in the first tender for Letters of Liquidity ‘Leliq’, operators said.
The monetary entity placed 148,329 million pesos (about 2,653 million dollars) with a minimum rate of 85.85% and a maximum of 86,0001% for the seven-day term notes.
On Friday, the BCRA set a rate of ‘Leliq’, equivalent to the monetary policy rate, at 85.828%, after capturing 204,354 million pesos in two auctions.
