Florida – It all started as a joke: Does a Smart car fit in the kitchen? The answer is yes.

Patrick Eldridge parked his miniature car in his home kitchen to protect him from Hurricane Dorian in Florida and also to prove he could do it.
"I told him there was no way. He said he could, ”said Jessica Eldridge, the wife. “So he opened the double door and put it in. I was amazed that it fit. He parked it without problems"He added.
Dorian bordered the east coast of Florida on Wednesday, barely avoiding Jacksonville – where the Eldridge live – en route north along Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
The storm devastated the Bahamas as a category 5 hurricane.
With the car in the middle of the kitchen, Jessica had to maneuver to cook and serve dinner.
"I hope he gets it out soon once the wind subsides," he said. "There is space and it doesn't interfere, but the dogs are confused."
