First reactions from the world of cinema
Former Cannes Film Festival President Gilles Jacob hailed a "very great comedian, theater and cinema, classical and modern".
Death of Michel Aumont, great actor, theater and cinema, classical and modern. The maintenance, the intonation, the phrasing, the accuracy, the discreet irony never far away and this kind of human thickness that serves the major roles. One of his titles suits him well: The eye of the master.
