The playoffs of the Europa League delivered their verdict Thursday night. This was particularly fatal in Strasbourg, beaten on the grounds of Eintracht Frankfurt (3-0), after a meeting in the context hostile and detestable. There will therefore be only two French clubs in group stages: Rennes, winner of the Coupe de France, and Saint-Etienne, 4th of the last season of Ligue 1. The two teams will be fixed this Friday on the composition of their group since the draw is scheduled at 13h in Monaco (to follow live on RMC Sport).

The Bretons and Greens are placed in the same hat (3) and thus approach this draw with the same fears as for the pedigree of their opponents. Notably those of the hat 1 very raised with the two English monsters Manchester United and Arsenal, but also Sevilla FC, Wolfsburg or Lazio Rome.

Serious customers also appear in hat 2 between PSV Eindhoven, Celtic Glasgow, Mönchengladbach or Eintracht Frankfurt, semi-finalist of the competition last season and executioner of Strasbourg. AZ Aklmaar or the Glasgow Rangers will be avoided in hat 4 unless you want to chill on a mythical trip to Ibrox Stadium.
