According to IDF spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Jonathan Conricus, four members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards plan to fly explosive drones at targets in northern Israel.
"Each of these attack drones could carry several kilograms of explosives," he said.

Conricus added that the army was following the Iranian project "for several weeks".
Last Thursday, the cell supported by the Revolutionary Guards tried to launch attack drones in northern Israel from the Syrian village of Erneh, an Israeli army spokesman said. But this attempt was thwarted by the Israeli army, which refused to comment on the exact method it had used to counter the attack.
According to the spokesman, the Iranian drones used in the attack were of a variety similar to those that Tehran-backed militias used elsewhere in the Middle East, namely the Houthis of Yemen.
"The modus operandi is similar to what we have seen in other places in the Middle East – Yemen and Saudi Arabia," said Conricus.
He explained that the equipment, but also some agents, had been sent from Tehran through Damascus International Airport.
The spokesman said their base of operations was in the village of Aqrabah, near Damascus.
Conricus said that Israel considers the regime of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad as the leader of the attacks, since he knew and gave, de facto, his approval.
