Emergency evacuation on Flight AT750: RAM is explained

Following the emergency evacuation carried out on the 25 August AT750 flight between Casablanca and Paris-Orly, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) states that during the landing of the flight in question, the airport's technical services reported to the captain, at the time of parking, a suspicion of smoke in one of the aircraft's reactors.

As a result, the pilot-in-command applied the emergency evacuation procedure for such situations as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the passengers and crew of the aircraft, according to RAM a statement. The 171 passengers of the flight, operated by a B737-800 type aircraft, were evacuated in good conditions and without incident, said the same source.

RAM takes this opportunity to praise the professionalism and responsiveness of its crew and renews its commitment to quality and safe flights, the statement concluded.
