An attempted mass assault of about 400 irregular migrants from Sub-Saharan African countries in Sebta via the Belyounech center was defeated on Friday morning, local authorities at the M'diq Fnideq prefecture said.
Nine irregular migrants were wounded slightly and transferred to Fnideq City Hospital to receive the necessary care, the source said.
The public forces have managed to arrest some 90 migrants who have been handed over to the relevant security services, while the search operations continue to challenge other irregular migrants, according to the same source.
