
The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed Friday's session down, dragged down by the poor performance of the sub-funds "Chemistry" and "Portfolio companies-Holdings".
At the final bell, the Masi, an overall index composed of all equity-type values, lost 0.58% at 11,710.94 points, and the Madex, a compact index composed of continuously quoted securities, fell by 0.60%. % to 9.542,20 points.
Regarding international indices, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 accumulated 10,474.55 points down 0.83%, while the FTSE Morocco All-Liquid lost 0.60% to 10,116.72 points.
The reference index Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) "Casablanca ESG 10", meanwhile, dropped 0.97% to 919.33 points.
The largest decline at the sector level was reported by the "Chemicals" sub-fund (-3.10%), due to the decline in "Snep" securities (-3.31%).
The "Portfolio companies-Holdings" sub-fund also followed the bearish trend of the session with a decrease of about 2.48%, following the diving of the title "Delta Holding" (-2.52%).
In the process, the global volume of securities trading reached 168.05 million dirhams (MDH), mostly on the block market.
For its part, market capitalization amounted to nearly 601.88 billion dirhams (MMDH).
The highest increases were achieved by Res Dar Saada (+ 9.99% to 85.79 DH), Fenie Brossette (+ 8.33% to 65 DH), Involys (+ 5.04% to 143.80 DH) , Microdata (+ 3.54% at 345 DH) and Lydec (+ 3.09% at 448.50 DH).
The largest decreases were reported by Jet Contractors (-9.99% to 309.55 DH), Sonasid (-4.27% to 260 DH), Agma (-3.72% to 2.952 DH), SM Monetic ( -3.64% to 230 DH) and Douja Prom Addoha (-3.40% to 9.66 DH).
