Atef Ajlan: Aswan is the best publicity for African tourism in Egypt

Atef Baker Ajlan, a member of the Chamber of Tourism Companies, said that the work of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi from holding conferences and international and local meetings in various governorates of Egypt, especially tourism, gives a strong boost to cities, which are holding such conferences and is the best publicity And marketing them locally and globally.

Ajlan explained that the establishment of the first forum for Arab and African youth in Aswan in the presence of a large number of officials of the African continent and its youth will be a message to the whole world through the participating media and carriers of the event globally that Egypt is a country of security, security and stability. The foundation will be the best ambassadors in their country for the marketing of Aswan tourist city.

He added that the holding of conferences and forums in tourist cities such as Aswan is better than propaganda costing millions of dollars because participants are watching the beauty and the effects and history of Egypt on the ground.

He called on Ajlan to present videos and prepare various tourism programs for participating guests in Aswan governorate to introduce the country. He stressed that the holding of the Arab and African Youth Forum in Aswan and under the chairmanship of Egypt for the African Union and the organization of the African Nations Championship next June, In particular and Egypt in general during the coming period.

According to statistical reports, the number of African tourists coming to Egypt is weak. In 2015, the number of African tourists reached 192,000. The Sudanese tourists are 46.8%, which represents about 90,000 tourists.

Ajlan stressed the need to expand the establishment of four-star hotels and five stars to accommodate incoming tourism to Aswan. Aswan is one of the most important tourist cities attracting tourists of all nationalities to visit the ruins, Nile cruises and Nile cruises, and enjoy the beautiful Aswan weather in the winter season.
