Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil producer, has announced a 4% to 5% increase in gasoline prices in the second quarter of 2019.
The government-owned Aramco said in a statement on its official website that the revised gasoline prices will be implemented as of Sunday 14/14.
According to the new prices, the sale of gasoline octane 91 rose by 5.1%, to 1.44 riyals ($ 0.38), compared to 1.37 riyals in the first quarter of the same year.
The sale of gasoline octane 95 rose by 4%, to 2.10 riyals (0.56 dollars), compared to 2.02 riyals in the first quarter.
Aramco kept prices unchanged at 0.47 for diesel, 0.64 for kerosene and 0.75 for liquefied petroleum gas.
The company stressed that the local prices of gasoline are subject to change, up and down, in accordance with changes in export prices from the Kingdom to the world markets.
