At the same event today in which Huawei/Honor has presented the new Honor 30S is the Kirin 820 5G processor, one was also launched budget smartphone: Honor Play 9A. This is the successor to Honor Play 8A, last year’s model, revisited enough in design and hardware.
In particular the phone boasts a renewed design of the rear photographic compartment, while a little further down there is now the fingerprint reader, which is very absent in the previous model. Like all new Huawei smartphones, Honor Play 9A does not own Google’s apps and services, but is still equipped with the latest version of Android.

In short, a picture in which only the presence of the micro-USB port (still ?!) which in 2020 appears hopelessly out of place. It was not disclosed when it will be marketed in the West, although the phone is already available in China where the 4/64 GB model is on sale at ¥ 899 (about € 100) while the 4/128 GB model costs ¥ 1,199 (about € 150).
