Likud MK Knesset Speaker Mickey Zohar responded to threats made in recent hours by blue-and-white senior officials saying that if a coalition agreement was signed with them, the legislation would prevent Netanyahu from forming a government.

“Gantz’s threat to the PM in promoting personal and retroactive legislation against him reminds me a bit of mafia films,” Zohar tweeted.

He said, “If that is how he thinks about running our democracy – he better think again and restore it immediately from this ugly style. I urge the prime minister not to surrender.”

Yisrael Beiteinu, MK Oded Forer, also commented in his Twitter account to the ultimatum that they reportedly put in blue and white for Likud.

“I saw that Benny Gantz gave an ultimatum to the prime minister that if he does not sign with him within an hour, he is advancing the legislation that was passed on the tenure of the prime minister under indictment. Then, your opinion, Mr. Speaker of the Knesset, will not sign with you in the coming hour. Our legislation is waiting on the Knesset table, “Forer tweeted.

However, it should be noted that in blue and white today, it is emphasized that negotiations are ongoing and that no ultimatum has been put into the Likud.
